Bentota

Bentota is a coastal resort town on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka. It lies between the Bentota River and the Indian Ocean. The town is a popular resort destination, known for water sports including jet skiing, windsurfing, and banana boat rides. The Madu River Boat Safari through the mangroves is a highlight. Brief Garden, the creation of landscape artist Bevis Bawa (brother of Geoffrey Bawa), is nearby.
