Ella is a small town in the Badulla District of Uva Province in Sri Lanka. The town has an elevation of approximately 1,041 metres above sea level, and is surrounded by hills covered with lush tea plantations. The Nine Arches Bridge — a colonial-era viaduct — is one of Sri Lanka’s most photographed landmarks. Ravana Falls, Little Adam’s Peak, and the Ella Rock hike draw adventurers from around the world.
